Montenegro is situated in central Mediterranean, between coordinates 41° 52' to 43° 32' northern latitude and 18° 26' to 20° 21' eastern longitude. Montenegro has an area of 13,812 square kilometres and a population of around 620,000. Its administrative and economic centre is Podgorica, and its historical and cultural capital is the Royal Capital Cetinje. The official currency is Euro.
